Hopping On

So I was thinking about hopping on the Internet
You know, to catch a ride somewhere

And remembering the basics of electricity
Considered plugging myself in a hole

Shocking people who peeped through
From the other side

So now I’m somewhere in the middle of slinging one leg over
And nowhere near full penetration

So far, there’s no sparks
So I’m debating stepping back, kicking the tires

Funny thing with machines is, they don’t know their purpose
But nonetheless accomplish great feats of bridging

One location to another, one mouth to your ear
One light in the night and another shrimp on the barbie
