Form Determines Action

If you have wings
Then you fly

If you have a poet’s tongue
Then you embarrass yourself
And slip on strip mall streets

If you are a tick with black legs
Dining on a gracious host
Then you leave a bulls-eye tip
To expand out
Like drips dropped on still water

Form determines action
Action determines meaning

I didn’t mean to say anything I shouldn’t have
I didn’t mean to do anything at all

And if it means anything still
I hope that you are happy

    1. I don’t know how it works but what we want has a tendency to make us. It makes us what we are or make us suffer. Anyway, she is flying with me on this rock round the sun. But she wants wings.
