You can always come back to now

You can always come back to now where the wind blows, and the leaves roll across the drive, turning cartwheels and sounding sounds that are remembered without effort by something that listens without thinking, as the breeze cuts through the trees and separation

One day we’ll wonder, how we are, where we were, as we always have been, with the common buckeye fluttering in our pocket, the answers coming when expectations stop, perhaps we’ll not have to break completely, so the dream is talking while the sirens sing, “what hurt are you unwilling to experience? what are you not willing to forgive? and are you ready to surrender everything?”

“There is a very simple secret to being happy. Just let go of your ‘demand’ on this moment. Any time you have a demand on the moment to give you something or remove something, there is suffering.”

  1. So good to be in the presence of faithful old friends, CG, and Adya, and Ben Howard. I have been listening to Adya lately, perhaphs a good time now with the leaves letting go, and the heat of stuborn summer still battling the wind, and the bald eagles returning to overwinter. Beautiful song. Thank you and blessings on your journey.
